e-Stalls tries to satisfy some of the global communities' desire to travel, to see and experience the world for all its rich, different people and cultures. Most of us would love to travel to far away exotic places, learn and meet people, shop for interesting gifts and souvenirs etc etc. Unfortunately, few of us have the opportunity, time and money to really "see the whole world and shop a bit while you are there".
e-Stalls's vision is to provide the next best thing to being there on holiday – provide websites that combine travel browsing and shopping experience over the Internet. Our Goal is to enable people anywhere, be it in Los Angeles, New York, London or Tokyo to use the Internet to enjoy "virtual tours" of selected wonderful countries, have fun while learning and discovering wonderful things about them, and also have the opportunity to buy carefully selected and unique merchandize from the represented countries. In addition, the use of the "stalls" shopping concept (perhaps better known as "specialty carts" in American malls) lend a more human, casual and browsing shopping experience than the usual big, cold online stores.
In Aug 2000, we launched www.MalaysiaStall.com for the exotic country of Malaysia. This was then followed with www.UpFromAustralia.com for Australia in Nov 2001.
